Nikon D40
I own a Nikon D40. I prefer the Nikon brand over any of the other digital camera brands. No matter what Nikon you decide on you get a lot of camera for a good price. Unlike some of the other brands out there. The thing that I like the most about my D40 is the fact that it's lenses are interchangeable and it takes a very clear, crisp picture. I have used this camera for taking pictures at Church functions, portraits for friends and weddings. I hope to soon upgrade to the Nikon D3. But for now my D40 is doing it's job just fine. I think one improvement I would of like to seen done for this model would be to add compact flash to it. Right now it's a standard SD card.

I have a Nikon D40 and I LOVE my camera! The images that it takes are perfect and it's easy to use, with an affordable price. I have it with me most of the times since it's not heavy at all and I enjoy photography more since I have this camera. It's awesome!
